About Shannon
Meet Shannon! A happy loving but at times a bit shy young boy. Ongoing training & socialisation will benefit him in his new home.Shannon gets on very well with other friendly large breed dogs but can be a bit much for small breeds with his energy. He will need to meet any new doggy house mates here at the shelter BEFORE he can be adopted. He also is good with cats but a home with no pocket pets is needed.Shannon can be a little unsure when he first meets new people and meeting crowds of people in his kennel can be a little overwhelming. But once he warms up to you especially when out on a walk or playing in an exercise yard he enjoys the attention and gives kisses! He has mastered basic obedience and walks OK on a lead but gets pretty excited when meeting new doggy and human friends so his new family would benefit from continuing his lead training and basic obedience in his new home.Shannon will need a medium to large size fully fenced and secure yard (minimum 5ft high fences) with NO holes or gaps that he could squeeze out of or under.*NO POCKET PETS*NEEDS TO MEET FAMILY DOG BEFORE ADOPTION*ONGOING SOCIALISATION*DAILY WALKS
