Tex

Tex is a handsome fellow looking for a kind and loving family. He loves being around a loving family and friends and is really good with children of all ages.

Initially Tex can be nervous and shy but once he gets to know you he will flop down and expect a big belly rub. He will happily live outside during the summer but as soon as it’s cold he’ll need a jacket. His special favourite thing to do is to snooze in front of the fire at your feet on those long winter nights or laze in the sun. Don¹t worry, he is toilet trained.

He is choosy about his doggy friends and is intimidated by larger dogs. You must keep him on a leash at all times as he can get over boisterous and sometimes try to dominate other dogs. He is trained to walk and stay obediently by your side on the leash so long as you are firm and reward him for his good behaviour.

He needs lots of walks and is motivated by kindness and positive attention. On command he will sit and wait patiently for his dinner. Being strong he can clear a one metre fence when his curiosity gets the better of him so he’ll need a large and secure backyard.

You could not ask for a better companion to look after you and your family and reward your love with faithful devotion.
