Lucy(3) (On Trial 21/3/14)

Lucy is a 6 yo Mini Pinscher, and at just of 3 kilos she is perfect for someone wanting a devoted little companion in their lives. Being around her favourite person is very important to her; she would love to share the warm covers of their bed (though at the moment she contentedly sleeps in the lounge room) and sit by their side to watch a bit of TV. She is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.

Lucy also adores to be taken for a daily walk, and as she is great on the lead, so this time of day is always a pleasure. She also enjoys gently wrestling with a soft or squeaky toy. Her favourite time of day is when she knows she going to get a tasty treat; she definitely loves her food!

Lucy is best suited to be with an older couple or person on their own. Her last owner had grandchildren that had her running a little scared, so now she has become wary of anyone not in adult clothing. She does take a little while to get used to new situations and is quite wary of strangers, but once she understands you’re her friend not foe she becomes your best bud.

She is great around the house. She is totally toilet trained and is not a big barker, though she will let you know when you have a visitor. Lucy's sister Stella is also available for adoption.
