Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Sparky (On Hold pending adoption mid July)
Hi there, I'm Sparky. No I am not an electrician, but I could light up your life. I am a 2 year old cattle dog cross. You just need to gaze into my eye to see I'm a special young fella. I am playful and have a very kind and gentle nature.
The start of my life may not have been that great but you must move on from these things, so my motto is to enjoy life and the company of both dogs and humans alike. I am really starting to get the hang of playing and hanging with others now.
I just love people, all ages and sizes. Don't mind a bit of the smooching and cuddling just quietly, sometimes I just need to be reminded that it is okay to do that.
Walking is very enjoyable for me, it makes me feel great. I understand basic commands and will sit and wait when asked. I am keen to learn more commands and being a really quick learner do not think it would be long before I can do lots of things for you.
Night time can be a bit lonely, so if I was an only dog I would prefer to sleep inside with my new family.
I am a little bit timid but I am getting much better with this now and really could do with having my own home with special people so I can settle down and enjoy my life with them.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
