About Kitty-Kat (On Trial 24/3/14)
Kitty-Kat is a 7 month old Bull Arab cross girl, with beautiful brindle colouring. She is a really cute, friendly and loving dog. Kitty especially loves the water, whether it be freshwater or the ocean. She is only young, so she gets a bit excited around kids but she just wants to play. She settles down and just needs a bit of time and training to be a great family dog.
Kitty loves company but happily stays in the yard while we're out. She needs to be provided with plenty of toys to keep her busy when she's left home alone. She also likes a sandpit or designated digging spot in the garden so she can exercise her natural instinct to dig. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Kitty has mostly been an outside dog with her foster family but when allowed inside there have been no accidents. She needs to spend some time in the house each day to bond with her family, learn manners, and enjoy the companionship.
For more information or to meet Kitty, please phone forster carer Erin on 0421 766 206. Kitty is in foster care in Taree, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Kitty's $400 adoption fee includes her de-sexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro-chipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
