Millie (On Trial 19/3/14)

Millie is an approx 2 yr old Mini Foxie. She loves going for walks and does really well on the harness and lead. She is definitely not a yappy dog. She greets us very happily when we come home, and just wants to be with us and tends to show this by crying until we say hello and give her a cuddle.

Millie prefers to be inside with people rather than outside. She is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. We did try Millie in a doggie crate for the first few nights but she cried so we let her sleep in our room with our other dogs, and this is just fine.

She was very nervous for the first few days we she came to us, but now we have gained her trust, and she will come up to us for pats and cuddles. Millie also has a very big appetite for a little dog and is not fussy with food at all.

Millie \ is never boisterous or overwhelming with our 16 yr old Maltese. We also have a 6 month old Jack Russell and Millie and her have a great time wrestling, chasing and generally having fun together. So I think Millie would be great with any age of other smallish dogs, but probably only one other dog as too many dogs is too much for her. We also have 2 cats and 5 chickens which Millie hasn’t bothered at all.

Millie has been a joy to have in our family and I’m sure she would be no problem for anyone who was to adopt her. She just wants to be loved and cared for.
