Hello there. My name is Ellie and I am a sweet gentle girl who is looking for a quiet family to call my own. I was surrendered to the shelter as unfortunately my previous owners were no longer able to look after me. I lived with cats in my previous household so I should be fine sharing a household with another cat with slow and gradual introductions. I am very reserved and quiet at first especially in new environments. My new owners should keep this in mind when I first arrive home that I will need some time to settle in before my true personality comes out. I would best suit a quiet mature family with no young children as I startle around loud noises. I would love to have plenty of great hiding places such as hiding boxes enclosed beds etc where I can go if I do become a little startled at home. My new owners must keep in mind that I may always be a little quiet and shy when first meeting people. Once I am comfortable I am a very sweet and affectionate girl. I love attention and will roll over and enjoy chin scratches all day. I have not shown much interest in toys and would much rather laze about and nap or curl up on your lap for cuddles. It is best that I am kept indoors at all times as I may startle and run with loud noises outside the household and not be able to find my way back home.
