About Mason
Mason is a very lovable boy! He adores company and is great with humans and dogs alike. He is currently learning basic commands and is a very quick student, so eager to please (especially when treat rewards are on offer!). His forever home would need to be dedicated to getting Mason further training so that he can reach his full gorgeous potential.
With his gentle nature, Mason loves to be as close to you as possible and often uses your feet as a pillow. He travels well in the car, and he's great on the lead, once the initial thrill and excitement of 'walkies' subsides. Being a big, growing puppy he needs regular exercise. He is an extremely devoted boy, and the family that adopts him will gain a loving family member with oodles and oodles of love to give...
MY IDEAL HOME
I would love a home where I will be joyfully welcomed as part of the family. My dream home is with a family that won't leave me alone for extended periods of time, or that has a doggy friend (or two!) to keep me company. I will need further training and guidance tailored to my sweet and sensitive nature. I am currently living with two other dogs and three children (aged 5, 7 and 9) and I love having them around, I am gentle and play well.
MY ENERGY LEVEL
If you're inside then I'll probably be relaxing somewhere nearby... if you're outside, I won't be far away! If you're going for a walk, well, that's the best adventure of all. I'm a good all-rounder for any family.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
I currently live with three children, who are very confident around me. I am careful and gentle with them. We love to play fetch in the backyard or go for a walk together.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS
My foster family doesn't have cats, and I'm not sure whether I'd like them, but I'm willing to give it a try. I REALLY love dogs though! It's so much fun hanging out with other doggies at the off-leash dog park I go to, and I'm super social and friendly even when I'm meeting a 'dawg' for the first time. I love my two doggy foster sisters, too. We'll often curl up together on my mat after a playful game of tug-o-war in the yard. I would be best suited to a forever home with other dogs who can keep me entertained and teach me their best-behavour tricks.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
