About Rune
Rune is a gorgeous brindle lady. She really adores human attention, pats and cuddles; and she loves to play, chase and jump.
Rune has grown up with guard dogs so will bark to alert you to a visitor. She is experienced with car travel, having made quite a few trips up the Hume Highway.
If left alone for too long she will dig unless she has toys aplenty. She loves bones which you can get for her from any butchers.
MY IDEAL HOME:
My idea home would be a 'no young children' family as I might be too rough with small children. I need someone who will take me for a run everyday and who will play fetch and tug-o-war with me. I love to swim, be it pool, lake, dam or ocean!
MY ENERGY LEVEL:
I am a high-energy level breed. The Kelpie and Greyhound in me needs to run and I love to run and chase things! I'm currently not an indoors dog as I tend to get a bit rough and slam into things, constantly knocking things over.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN:
Small children scare me, as they like to run straight up to me and pull my fur. I would feel more at home with older children where my energy level won't bowl them over!
MY SUITABILITY TO DOGS & CATS:
I am great with other dogs! Small dogs interest me highly. The cats I have met have ignored me or walked away but I would probably chase one if I got the chance.
*This is a private adoption facilitated by Maggie's Rescue. Please note that Maggie's Rescue does not participate in the adoption itself, the adoption is between the current owner and the adopter. Whilst we have taken all necessary steps to verify the information contained within this listing, we recommend you confirm details with the owner during the adoption process.*
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
