About Petal
(Petal is the kitten on the left in the photo, a lovely grey tabby with an orange spot on her forehead)
Petal is a sweet, cuddly and playful kitten. She was orphaned at 2 weeks old and has been bottle raised. Because she has been raised by humans, she is very affectionate and loves people.
Petal enjoys snuggling up to her human on the couch and pouncing on feet when she's in a playful mood. Her favourite toys are her crackly-tunnel, toy mouse bungee and any shoe box she can find.
An ideal home for Petal would be: an individual or couple who has plenty of time to spend with her, preferably no young children in the family, indoors lifestyle (access to outdoors via a cat run is ok).
Medical notes
Petal is a healthy kitten. She has had her first vaccination but will need to have two more vaccinations, and be desexed/microchipped when she is a little older.
Petal is to be fed premium quality food of the same brand that she is currently eating- this is to prevent gastric upset from a sudden change, and to promote good health. Currently she is offered free-choice of dry food (ProPlan kitten and Royal Canin kitten) and is given a sachet of wet food daily, either Fancy Feast turkey-based kitten food or Whiskas beef-based kitten food.
Petal is also offered free choice of water, and is offered a small bowl of Divetelact milk formula once a day.
Adoption details
Petal's new pet-parents will need to sign an adoption contract agreeing to the following:
At 10 weeks old Petal will be picked up and taken for her 2nd vaccination. At 14 weeks she will again be picked up and taken for her 3rd (final) vaccination, desexing and microchipping.
The fees for vaccination, desexing and microchipping are included in the adoption fee, no further payment will be required.
A house inspection prior to adoption will be required, and some questions may be asked to assess the adoptive family's suitability.
If adopted with her sister Pixie, Petal's adoption fee will be reduced dramatically.
