About Pixie
Pixie is a sweet, inquisitive and playful kitten. She was hand-raised from approximately 2 weeks old, and is very affectionate with humans as a result.
Although young, Pixie has an excellent appetite and is not fussy with food. She enjoys dry food, wet food, water and formula, and can drink from a bowl with no problems.
Pixie's favourite toys are her crackly-tunnel, toy mouse bungee and her sister Petal's tail.
Pixie would like the following in her adoptive home: an individual or couple who has plenty of time to spend with her, preferably no human children in the family, an indoors lifestyle (access to outdoors via a cat run is ok), for her current diet to be continued to avoid tummy upsets.
Because she is an orphaned kitten who has been raised by hand, Pixie would be best adopted with her sister Petal so that she doesn't get lonely.
Medical notes
Pixie is a healthy and robust kitten. She has had her first vaccination but will need two more, and will need to be microchipped and desexed when she is a little older.
Pixie is to be fed premium quality food of the same brand that she is currently eating- this is to prevent gastric upset from a sudden change, and to promote good health. Currently she is offered free-choice of dry food (ProPlan kitten and Royal Canin kitten) and is given a sachet of wet food daily, either Fancy Feast turkey-based kitten food or Whiskas beef-based kitten food.
Pixie is also offered free choice of water, and is offered a small bowl of Divetelact milk formula once a day.
Adoption details
Pixie's new pet-parents will need to sign an adoption contract agreeing to the following:
At 10 weeks old Pixie will be picked up and taken for her 2nd vaccination. At 14 weeks she will again be picked up and taken for her 3rd (final) vaccination, desexing and microchipping.
The fees for vaccination, desexing and microchipping are included in the adoption fee, no further payment will be required.
A house inspection prior to adoption will be required, and some questions may be asked to assess the adoptive family's suitability.
If adopted with her sister Petal, Pixie's adoption fee will be reduced dramatically.
