About Indiana Fly
Calm, laid back, friendly, adores cuddles and human company. Yep, that’s me. Indiana Fly.
Life these days is pretty fantastic. In fact, I never imagined it could be this good. I take delight in my surroundings and interaction with my doggy, human and horse friends. I am so happy that sometimes I wag my tail so hard that my entire back end wags as well.
I will follow you everywhere like a shadow because when I find you, you’ll be my hero. I thrive when showered with affection. There is no such thing as too many cuddles and pats. If you let me sit on your lap, I will. Sometimes I forget I am not so teeny, tiny, so if I’m being a little demanding and ask for too much attention, just let me know.
I’m a smart cookie, although I came to Victorian Dog Rescue without training, I am now toilet trained, walk well on the lead – I’m fairly good at that too – I don’t pull, I stay at heel or slightly ahead with no tension on the lead. I’m currently learning how to sit and drop. I understand when you say no, you mean no. Stay hasn’t totally sunk in yet but I don’t mind practicing.
I’m good in a pack. I live with a Great Dane, Stag Hound and my neighbour is a Jack Russell. I get how the hierarchy works and we all get along famously.
The other day I met a couple of little people, I was gentle with them and used my best manners, just as they did with me which was lovely.
Just a few tips on my new home: daily exercise, dog friendly, um, by that I mean no breakables. Did you know my tail can clear a table in mere seconds? Some might call that a skill, many wouldn’t. I need to sleep inside at night so I feel safe with my family. Cuddles, pats and lots of interaction are mandatory, but don’t worry, you will get plenty of love in return. I’m happy to spend my days outside but secure fencing would be a good idea for all involved.
I would be delighted if I could share my home with a doggy friend or two. They would be good company for me if you have to go to work. Oh, by the way. When you get home I will give you the warmest reception, I’ll make you feel like a superstar.
I’m such a lucky girl to be given a second chance. To be loved and valued. The thought of that wonderful day when I choose you, and you choose me makes my heart skip a beat.
Indiana is located Casterton.
