About Indigo
Meet Indigo! It is very hard not to love this gorgeous creature. This playful, adolescent is affectionate, smart and loyal, great with kids and her zest for life rubs off on absolutely everybody. She delights her foster family and makes them laugh each and every day.
Indigo is an active and alert dog who adores exercise, she will happily have two good walks a day and still have enough energy for a scamper around a doggy park or a tumble with her doggy brother or sister. She looks forward to her lengthy walks at the creek and wants to greet every passer-by. Agility training and toys are a favouite for this girl too, in fact if you were to list things loved by dogs, Indigo would tick "all of the above".
Indigo is house trained, she can use a doggy door, understands the command to sit and has almost mastered recall and “wait”. She is till a puppy at heart and has a few adorable traits that need fine tuning. She responds very well to treat rewards, so training her will not be daunting. Indigo is showing signs of maturing and settling.
She doesn't pass up an opportunity to show how brave and protective of her pack she can be, though this compulsion will probably mellow as she matures. Her ideal home will have her always with company (four legged or two legged, she is not fussed, but definitely prefers people).
Indigo has not been introduced to cats yet and toddlers might find her playfulness a bit daunting, but she will bring happiness to one lucky family for years to come. What do you think?
Indigo is located in Melbourne.
