About Duke3
Duke3 arrived at Happy Paws Haven in a dreadful state skinny no hair on his back riddled with fleas mites and worms. He had been abandoned by his owner when left with a friend. The friend tried to contact him but to no avail. We were able to contact his breeder who was very happy for us to treat him and re-home him. Duke3 is very obedient well mannered and well trained. He has a very gentle and submissive nature and would make a very loyal friend. He is a pure breed working kelpie who would love to have a loving family home and would does not want to see a chain again ever. He is good with other dogs and with children and probably everything else too He has been treated for his mites fleas and worms he has been de-sexed heart worm tested and immunised.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
