About Andie
Andie is a Border Collie cross and looks like she will be a medium to large dog with a heart as big to match.
Andie has been in foster care for almost three weeks now, after being born in a Victorian pound, and in this short time has already found a special place in the heart of her foster carer. During her time in foster care Andie has fitted perfectly into a busy family life with two adult dogs and three children. Andie absolutely loves playing with all of them and displays the usual puppy behaviour of chasing and jumping and generally loving her life to the full!
This gorgeous girl is a fast learner and has already learnt to sit, wait for her food and her toilet training is going extremely well. Although Andie is still a puppy she is incredibly independent and puts herself to bed at night on her bed located in the lounge room, she can sleep through the night without needing to go out for a toilet break. Andie establishes great eye contact during training sessions and wants nothing more than to please. She comes willingly to her name every time she is called even when there is a distraction such as another dog or food!
Andie is playful, cuddly and independent. She loves to play with children and other dogs, she loves to run and would be an excellent running companion or a perfect friend for an active family.
Finally, Andie has displayed perfect loyalty to her foster Mum and follows her everywhere, she is regularly at her feet while she is working on the computer or watching TV.
