About Houdini Purrfect Match
Rescued from Renbury after being orphaned this endearing boy has been nick named ‘Houdini’ because he was determined to climb out of his kitten cage the day we brought him home. This was then shortened to ‘Ini’ because he is so tiny! He is bright, inquisitive, playful and full of love. Everyone who meets him adores him.
‘Ini’ has come leaps and bounds from when we first got him. As soon as he feels a human’s touch, he melts into a purr machine, but that doesn’t mean you’re safe from his cheekiness, he will still try to nibble on you while cuddling. He loves a rumble with his “brother from another mother”, ‘Grayson’ and also adopted Mum, ‘Birdie’ and sister, ‘Torti’. It’s like have front seat tickets to a WWE match! He loves exploring and learning new place where he can sneak attack whoever is lucky enough to come by next. When it’s naptime, he’s likely to pick you as his mattress. He’s a great cuddle buddy! As a kitten, he’s still learning how to control his claws, so playtime can come with a few scratches here and there, but they’re not intended by any means. He is litter trained, with very few accidents and is easy to handle.
‘Ini’ has been with his foster family since January 31st 2014. We have three adult cats and two dogs, so he is used to being around other cats and given time, he will adjust to dogs as he is getting used to our Labrador and Husky when they’re at the back door, but still a bit hesitant given the size difference.
Considering how young he was when he came to us, I fell for this little man, he has my heart. I’ve no doubt he’ll have yours too in a matter of minutes within meeting him.
Adoption details
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. This includes and is not restricted to... dangers from disease, attacked by dogs,being used for dog fights or greyhound baiting, cars, cat haters, sick people who would like to hurt any living creature and/or being trapped and sent back to the pound and then left on death row unclaimed due to unforeseen circumstances (IE failure of owner to change address details when moving or lack of funding to pay the impounding fees).
