About Puppy Eliza (On Trial 18/3/14)
Miss Eliza is a gorgeously playful, 8 week female old Staffy cross.Eliza loves her humans and will do anything she can to make you laugh. Her personality is amazing for such a young girl. She will run and play until she tires, and then she will take herself off to rest before bouncing back up to you to play again. She initiates play by jumping up excitedly and also by biting at your toes!
Eliza loves tummy rubs and scratches behind her ears. She loves the company of the three small human children she has been in care with, and also their pet rabbit who she enjoys sniffing and trying to play with. She does get a little scared around loud noises and rough play, so her forever home will need to have a safe, quiet place she can rest.
Eliza loves to play outside and run and roll in the grass, but being so young, she will need access to the inside of her forever home, especially for sleeping. Eliza is still learning toilet training. Eliza loves her puppy toys. She especially loves those that squeak and will joyfully squeak them as she tears around the house.
Eliza is playful, but she is also a quiet, sweet girl who loves to snuggle. Eliza will not suit a family that isn't home all the time because she is only a pup and needs to be fed 3 times a day and constant care. Only genuine enquiries will be taken as puppies are cute while little and but will grow, so only dedicated people need to enquire.
She is from a litter of 8 who have come into the care of Dog Rescue Newcastle. Eliza is only available for adoption in the Hunter and Central Coast region, not interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
