About Gus
Gus is a sweet-natured and affectionate boy. He was slightly shy when he arrived into foster care, but two good meals and a head scratch won him over! He’s a loving and super-gentle boy who will reach his paw out to let you know he wants a head scratch. He’s great with dogs (really calm) but will be the boss when they are overstepping their ground. He doesn’t go on the furniture, preferring to sit in a corner or box.
Gus has been vaccinated, microchipped and desexed, and is ready and waiting to meet you!
Medical notes
Gus is very healthy, but he is FIV positive. This is not a death sentence. He does not have feline aids just a lower immune system than others meaning that if he does get a cold or anything like that he needs to be taken to the vet for treatment. He needs to be an indoor cat with cat enclosure access for any outside time. He can be around other cats that are vaccinated against FIV or cats that are FIV positive themselves.
Adoption details
After seeing an animal you are interested in we ask you to fill out an adoption expression of interest form which tells us a bit about you, your lifestyle and any previous pets. A meet and greet is then organised for you to meet your prospective new furry friend and if all goes ok, you are then able to adopt your new furry housemate.
