Patrick

Patrick is a 3 year old wolfhound cross who despite his size thinks he's a lap dog. He loves cuddles and belly rubs and will do almost anything for some treats.

Patrick is toilet trained knows sit, down, off, on your bed and has mastered sitting and waiting for his food, but don't wait too long as you may slip on his drool!!

He is good on the lead and can pull a little bit, but the recent introduction to a halti has stopped this. Off lead he will walk out in front and his recall is good...he will mostly run back and sit for a treat.

He is great in the car and once settled ( normally 5 mins) he goes to sleep. Patrick likes playing with other dogs and particularly likes the little dogs. He also loves going on bush walks and to the beach.

He can be a little bit nervous around strangers both at home and when out if approached quickly, however, it only takes him a little bit of time and some treats to warm up to you! He finds kids a little overwhelming and would be best suited to a child free house.

A well behaved boy, he doesn't dig the garden or try and get out. He can be left all day to sleep on his outside sofa. He is very excited to see you back from work and takes you to the biscuit cupboard for a treat and then it's cuddle time.
