About Sienna *On Trial in Her New Home*
*SIENNA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Cutie-pup Sienna is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on the 13th of November 2013. Their mum was a Maltese x Shih Tzu while we suspect their father was a passing Staffy cross due to their brindle patches and size.
All of the pups have friendly, affectionate natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults and older. Cherry gets along well with her foster carers other dogs just wanting to play or hang out and she’s fine with the household cats. They all enjoy food, especially treats which is helping with their training and they’re learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. The pups haven’t spent much time on a lead as they’re being fostered on acreage so will need some practice with this in their forever homes.
Sienna is the only “hairy” pup out of the litter which must be her Maltese/Shih Tzu mum shining through! She also has longer legs as opposed to her siblings short stumps and she’s generally leaner and not such a piggy when it comes to food like the others are; she’s a dainty eater. This gorgeous girl is quite confident making her the puppy pack-leader and she tends to be the first pup to make contact with new people. She adores everyone she meets and enjoys being with you. She likes playtime with her siblings or chasing and chewing toys or just discovering the pleasures of the world around her. At night time Sienna comes inside for some cuddles on the couch before heading off to the laundry to curl up with her siblings and enjoy sweet puppy dreams :)

As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up having lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Sienna very happy indeed!
Sienna would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on in a home where her human/s are home a lot as she’s used to having company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
