About Cherry *On Trial in Her New Home*
*CHERRY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* “Hello daddy, hello mum, I’m your ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch Cherry bomb!” and I’m looking for a fantastic forever home; will it be with you???
Cheeky Cherry is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on the 13th of November 2013. Their mum was a Maltese x Shih Tzu while we suspect their father was a passing Staffy cross due to their brindle patches and size.
All of the pups have friendly, affectionate natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults and older. Cherry gets along well with her foster carers other dogs just wanting to play or hang out and she’s fine with the household cats. They all enjoy food, especially treats which is helping with their training and they’re learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. The pups haven’t spent much time on a lead as they’re being fostered on acreage so will need some practice with this in their forever homes.
We just adore Cherry’s ears and reckon they must be ‘all the better for hearing you with my dear’! \ This delightful little puppy is attentive and sociable, enjoying the company of whoever she meets. She is very food orientated so quickly picked up the “sit” command while using treats. She likes a bit of rough and tumble with her siblings or playing with her toys or just lying around soaking up the sunshine as puppies are apt to do. At night time Cherry comes inside for some cuddles on the couch before heading off to the laundry to curl up with his siblings and enjoy sweet puppy dreams :)

As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up having lovely manners. \ Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Cherry very happy indeed!
Cherry would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on in a home where her human/s are home a lot as she’s used to having company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
