Petee

Petee is a very special three legged boy looking for that extra special home.

A loyal, happy, bubbly, balanced, personable, appreciative, one of a kind personality that you just cant help but fall in love with. Excellently behaved and well trained little guy who just wants to please. Loves attention, chin scratches, sitting next to the fire in winter, playing fetch, laying in the sun or his favorite on the couch nestled up to his human.

Enjoys a good game of chase with a canine companion, playing, spinning around and running (which he can do really really fast). He would ideally suit a home where he had 1 small dog companion or was the only dog. He needs human company so someone who is home most of the time and is not away from the house for overly extended periods.

Petee loves to go on short walks and He is brilliant with recall and never goes too far from me if we are in a lead off park.
He uses a ramp to get on and off the couch so he can come and go as he pleases without having to ask me to lift him up and down. He cant use steps. Will use a dog door as long as there is no flap and it’s a good size and very low, ideally an open door to the secure outdoor area where he can come and go when he needs to but when inside he will ask to go out if necessary. Any outdoor area needs to be very secure as the terrier in him makes him very curious and inquisitive. His new home will ideally be single level and set up for impaired ability dogs.

Travels great in the car. Toilets outside ALWAYS. Brilliant at recall and obeying commands. Does not steel food if fed with another dog but will not defend his food if another dog tries to take his. So needs to be fed alone if he has a buddy who is more dominant.
