About Dozer (On Trial 7/3/14)
Meet Dozer, this charming young boy is roughly 10 months old. He looking for a family where he will be a loved and valued member of the family. He is a small to medium sized dog, weighing only 11 kgs. Dozer's markings are quite unique and we sometimes call him Mickey Mouse. He does not mind as he loves all the attention he can get! We can only guess his breed mix but it may include Staffy, Husky, or German Shepherd plus Terrier to make him much smaller than those breeds.
Dozer loves playing with his humans and of course other dogs, but he also loves his is cuddles and pats. He likes to spend his time in the back yard chewing on bones and playing with his toys while he patiently waits for you to return from your day. But when you get home he does prefer to be cuddled up on the lounge watching some T.V. in the company of his family.
Dozer would best be suited to a family with another playful medium or large dog for company, or with someone who is home often. He can be a little shy at first, especially towards men but he builds trust easily and will show unconditional love. He’s currently in a home with one other large male dog and they get on famously, playing tugs and wrestles when they aren’t having cuddles and going for walks.
Dozer has had some basic training and can sit and drop with verbal reward, he is completely toilet trained and his training comes easy as he is very food driven. He loves his daily walks but is still learning to not pull on his lead. Dozer has not been around children in this home, but I think he would be fine with older children.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
