About Finn
Finn is a lucky boy as his life could have turned out very differently if PAWS had not been contacted and asked to rehome him. Finn was given away by his owners at 6 weeks of age. He was neither microchipped, wormed or vaccinated and his previous owners didn't give him to an adult but to two teenagers who took him home to their parents. The parents understandably didn't want Finn as they already had two dogs so Finn has had his first vaccination, been microchipped, wormed and is now in foster care with a lovely family who have two small dogs. We are not sure of his breeding but the vet believes that he is a Labrador crossed with a small breed dog. Finn will not be rehomed as an 'only' puppy so a home with another dog who is playful and happy to contend with this little chap is essential as puppies can be annoying with their sharp teeth and relentless zest for play! Finn needs to go to puppy classes to help him to learn manners and to socialise with all other sizes. He is not suitable for a family with young children as he will chew, bite and run off with their toys. Finn is a house puppy and we want that to continue in his new home. He is learning all about house training and is getting lots of cuddles in his foster home. Please do not apply to adopt Finn if you don't fit the criteria.
