About Franklin *On Trial in His New Home*
*FRANKLIN IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Fun-loving Franklin is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on the 13th of November 2013. Their mum was a Maltese x Shih Tzu while we suspect their father was a passing Staffy cross due to their brindle patches and size.
All of the pups have friendly, affectionate natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults and older. Franklin gets along well with his foster carers other dogs just wanting to play or hang out and he’s fine with the household cats. They all enjoy food, especially treats which is helping with their training and they’re learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. The pups haven’t spent much time on a lead as they’re being fostered on acreage so will need some practice with this in their forever homes. \
Franklin loves people and thrives on being with you; he’s a little shadow and a real smoochy boy. He is very food orientated making him the first pup to get the hang of “sit”. He enjoys a bit of rough and tumble with his siblings or a game of tug-o-war with his toys or just exploring the yard whiling the day away. At night time Franklin comes inside for some cuddles on the couch before heading off to the laundry to curl up with his siblings and enjoy sweet puppy dreams :)
Enjoy some video of Franklin and his brother Archie: http://youtu.be/GNC0zk_qqQk
As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up having lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Franklin very happy indeed! \
Franklin would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or in a home where his human/s are home a lot as he’s used to having company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
