Joanie

Joanie needs you. This beautiful and affectionate girl needs to find her person. \ She is a loyal girl who wants to please you. You will be the centre of her world.

Joanie was found dumped in the Barmah forest, left to fend for herself. We don’t know how long she was out there but by the time she was found her pads were worn away. She must have travelled many miles looking for food and water and home. This experience hit Joanie hard.

Joanie can be a nervous girl. She is currently living with Jude and gets a lot of confidence from him. If you are looking for two dogs, it would be lovely to see them adopted together, but we are willing to separate them for the right home. She could live with a different dog as she enjoys playing with dogs that she knows and trusts.

If Joanie were to be an only dog then she would need to live with people who are home a lot and willing to give her the extra attention and training she needs to be the confident girl she deserves to be.

Joanie is a sweet girl who loves a cuddle. She would prefer to live in an adult only home with no other animals (cats, chickens, etc.), it is just too tempting to chase them. She loves her walks and would love to go for one or even two a day.

Joanie needs a quiet calm home and people with the time and patience to train Joanie and help her to learn that the world is not such a bad place. Could you be Joanie’s special person?
