About Jaxon (Hollywood)
Jaxon 2 year old male Sher Pei x
Jax came in to us with a “man-made” knee injury. Serious enough that he has had reconstructive surgery. The surgery has gone well and he is now on the mend.
This dog is the most smoochy dog you will ever meet. Loves his cuddles and to be at your side all the time. \ He is great with all other dogs, big & small, loves kids and gets on well with cats & kittens.
Now for the dilemma. Jaxon has at least another 4 weeks of “quite time”. He needs to be kept to minimal exercise and no jumping as he continues to heal. Short lead walks in the garden are fine, a dog pen would be great (or a laundry size area). He is getting use to this but as you can imagine, is very frustrated that he can’t be out running around with other fur friends.
While I would love to see him adopted into a family that has some time for him in the short time to keep him calm and then enjoy his energy when he is given the all clear, I am also looking for a possible foster or foster to adopt that could also fit this profile.
Poor boy has been to multiple carers along the way (non for behavioural issues) just not the best fit for him at this time. So, if you think you are the forever family for Jaxon or just a temporary one for the next 4 weeks that can give him the care that he needs. Please contact us – either through a foster form or adoption interest form and I will be in contact.
SODR will be maintaining his medical bills until the doc has given him the all clear but this may mean that you will have to attend one of our vets in this time for a check-up. All other questions will be answered once application are received.
I know for sure that anyone that meets him will love him as much as I do.
