About Oski
Oski was surrendered due to a change in his families situation and, although they loved him dearly, they found themselves unable to care for him while living in a small apartment which had limited space. Oski needed to be in a bigger home with more room to run around and other dogs to run around with. Oski originated from a pet shop and his owners didn't realize that most puppies of this particular crossbreed are bred on puppy farms or by backyard breeders then advertised on internet websites or sold in pet shops around the Sydney metropolitan area. Oski is typical of this crossbreed as he is highly excitable, very vocal (he barks) and an extremely active dog. Oski's new home must have another small and very playful, friendly dog currently living with the family as we will not rehome Oski as an only dog. It will not work and he will be very unhappy! Oski is not suitable for a home with young children and is best suited to one with an older family with lots of time and energy to devote to him. Oski needs to be taught the skills of a balanced doggy life, taken on long walks and be socialised with other dogs at every opportunity as this is extremely important for Oski's future. Oski is a house dog that is house trained and has a coat that will grow and require ongoing grooming.
Please do not apply to adopt Oski unless you have the criteria that matches his profile.
