About Puppy Jacko --- On Trial 10/3/14 ---
Jacko is a 10 week old Staffy x puppy. He is such a sweet boy, and very little. Despite his small size he will jump in and have a rumble with the rest of the puppies. He loves a cuddle and will come to you when he is called.
Jacko is put in a crate to go to sleep at night, along with his brother Jordie (also available for adoption). Their bedding is clean and dry in the morning when I let them outside to go to the toilet.
Jacko is great in the car, and being a baby he settles down for the ride. He loves a cuddle when he is done playing so he can rest up and get ready to do it all over again. He is a real character and would be a darling new member of any family.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
For more information or to meet Jacko please phone foster carer Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. Jacko is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Jacko's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
