Gemma (On Trial 20/02/14)

Seeking a family full of vibrant young children or active adults - Gemma is a 2 year old, female Labrador cross. She is mainly Labrador however has uneven colouring which gives her a beautiful two-tone coat. She is a lovely medium sized family dog.

Gemma has no reservations that stop her from being a fun loving puppy and although still a young dog, she has outgrown digging and other annoying puppy behaviours.

Gemma is at home in the backyard yet loves being around the family so is well behaved indoors, she is also comfortable being at home by herself. Gemma is housetrained, walks well on a lead, can sit and comes to her name.

Gemma has a good appetite and eats practically anything put in her bowl, and occasionally enjoys a good treat. She loves to fetch a ball and will always drop on command. Generally she is not a chewer unless the item is made of rope and still has the teddy bear she came with.

Gemma is protective of her family and will bark when strangers come to the door; however it will not take long for her to befriend them once approved by her owner.

Gemma is a beautiful dog, with a lovely nature who loves to be around other dogs and as long as they are smaller. She is comfortable around young children including babies.
