About "Lord Byron" - Purrfect Match
Lord Byron is one of the most content, gentle, sweet natured and affectionate cats we have ever seen ! His unique way of cuddling and melting in to a loved one holding him is really something special. He is fairly quiet and sedate, though has his occasional bursts of energetic play, and adores all types of company if confident and settled. He is happy with children who know how to handle cats correctly, a perfect cuddle companion for the adults, willign to give the friendship a go with other cats who are cruisy and comfortable with the presence of dogs who like cats :) Lord Byron would also be ideal for apartment living as he has expressed to desire to go beyond his comfort zone and boundaries. Byron was born with 1 claw on his front paw which won't retract. Our rescue vet confirmed it will never be an issue and is not a problematic condition, just a birth quirk. Either way he never extends claws to scratch or when playing, or being handled. Anyoen interested in adopting a pair would be pleased to hear that Byron is good mates with his foster sister Evangeline and special discounts can apply for double adoptions. This gorgeous little boy deserves a sepcial lovign home of his own :)
Adoption details
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. This includes and is not restricted to... dangers from disease, attacked by dogs,being used for dog fights or greyhound baiting, cars, cat haters, sick people who would like to hurt any living creature and/or being trapped and sent back to the pound and then left on death row unclaimed due to unforeseen circumstances (IE failure of owner to change address details when moving or lack of funding to pay the impounding fees).
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
