Marvel is FIV Positive so he will need to be kept confined.

Please note, while FIV is SIMILAR to HIV, it is not the same. It a FELINE ONLY disease and is NOT transmissible to humans. Virologists refer to FIV as Highly Species Specific, as it is not compatible with human cells.

FIV is a lentavirus, meaning it has a very slow progression. A normal healthy life is still possible for Marval, most problems can be delayed or mitigated with nutritious diet.
