About Yoshi *On Trial in Her New Home*
*YOSHI IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Hi there everyone my name is Yoshi! Weird name, I know - but it means "Good Luck" in Japanese (and is also a dragon in Super Mario!). I could use some good luck as I was left at the pound when I was only 9 months old and I wasn't a very well little girl. I was scared of everything and hid in my foster mum's shoe rack for the first week. But after a couple of months of living on a farm with lots of other critters, I am happily bouncing around and looking forward to find someone to love me forever.
The vet thinks I am a Jack Russell x black and tan Chihuahua - whatever that means. I am a very little girl – I only weigh 4kgs - But I am feisty! I’m in foster care with Whippets, a Kelpie pup (who looks like a bigger version of me!) and a HUGE Greyhound who lets me chew his toes. I also help round up the chooks to put them to bed at night. And there is a cat around somewhere but it is bigger than me so I don't take much notice. I sit when there is food around (I LOVE cheese!) and will easily learn new things if you want me to, coz I am a smart young lady. I also love coming inside, and sleep in my own bed on the floor next to my foster mum (my bed comes with me to my new home) and I love having a play outside, perhaps a little sunbake, then come back in to sleep or cuddle (cuddles are FUN!).
Walks are also fun and I run along behind the other dogs and stand under them when it gets too hot. I haven't had much to do with a lead yet, as I never leave my foster parent's side on a walk at the farm - but it wouldn't take long for me to work that one out. My mum says I am a funny little critter - I make her laugh and keep people entertained. I am a bit nervous meeting new big dogs as I am so little (and I had a nasty incident with a big dog once - he thought I was a bunny!) - but inside I think I am BIG, it's just that my body is little. \ Oh - and I also like a ride in the car. And I am a good guard dog - if someone strange comes to the door I bark to scare them! (But I am not a yappy dog otherwise...)
I would love to adopt someone as my forever family. You, perhaps??? \ Love and licks from Yoshi xx

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
