About Brian
Brian is an active, fun loving and curious boy who loves his walks and is very young at heart. Otherwise known as the social butterfly of the park, this lovable boy delights in playing off the lead with his canine friends.
Brian is extremely affectionate and enjoys nothing more that snuggling with his human on the couch to wind down. He’ll go to his bed if told, but he would much prefer to sleep in yours if invited.
Brian is house trained and understands the commands to sit, come, drop and shake hands. He walks well off the lead once trust has been established with his human companion and he understands the “wait” command curb side. As his instinct is to jump (Jack Russell style) he also understands “no jumping”. Brian will go to his basket when directed and if you encourage him to get his toys he will bring them all to you to play.
Motivated by food and very intelligent, Brian is receptive to further training.
This gorgeous boy is friendly towards people but wary in the company of small children. Brian’s ideal forever home will be with an active adult family. He would thrive with someone who is able to take him with them everywhere. Brian is an energetic boy and his family will have the time to walk him daily, including off the lead time so he can stretch his little legs and \ do what he loves to do most - run like the wind.
Brian would be delighted to share his family with another doggy sibling. Brian would be the perfect exercise and play companion for another younger dog – in fact they may even have trouble keeping up with him. In the past he has happily lived with his cat “brothers”, although new cats on the scene will need to stand their ground – if they run Brian will take that as an invitation to a game of chase.
This beautiful soul is the most wonderful, loyal dog you will find anywhere. If you take the time to meet Brian, there is no doubt that he will charm his way into your heart and home.
Brian is located in Melbourne.
Medical notes
Brian has had skin allergies in the past, but has had no problems for some time.
Weighs 7.2kgs.
