About Herbie & Missy the Pugs
Herbie and Missy are two gorgeous Pug X Mini Fox Terriers who love being around people and each other.
Herbie is an active and playful dog. He's very loyal and loves to play with his best mate Missy.
Mr Cutiepants loves to run in the park and enjoys going for long walks. He also loves cuddles. He will happily sit in your lap and watch TV and follows you around the house to see what you are doing. He knows how to sit on command and will do anything for a treat!
Herbie will also guard his home very well and alert you if anything is amiss. He's an extremely affectionate dog with loads of personality and would make a great family pet.
Missy is a playful and happy little girl. She is a bit more shy than Herbie but loves being around people and learns new commands very quickly. She absolutely loves playing fetch and swimming at the beach. She enjoys her daily walks and is happy to be by your side and part of your day to day activities.
This sweetheart is extremely affectionate and loyal, and loves to be patted and cuddled.
Missy loves kids and chasing her tail is her favourite trick to make them giggle.
Herbie and Missy are wonderful family dogs and would love to go to their new home together.
OUR IDEAL HOME
Our ideal home is together, with people who love dogs. We've never been apart and would be quite sad to be on our own. We like to have a backyard or small outdoor area to play in and to go to the bathroom. We really enjoy being around children and adults and can happily live indoors or outdoors. We love being around people and are very social!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL
We are very low maintenance dogs and rarely bark or yap. We do like our walks but are also happy to relax at home in our doggy bed having a good sun bake! We have short bursts of energy: when we go to the park or the beach we will play until we leave then have a big loooooong sleep.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
We love love love being around kids! They like to play with our curly tails, which is a fun game. We can get a little over excited and jump up from time to time so foster mum says we need supervision with children under 6. We currently live with a 1 year old and we love to play!
OUR SUITABILITY TO DOGS & CATS
Other dogs are fun! We love each other and we also love to play with other dogs. We are curious when it comes to cats and we love to play with the neighbour's cat, but she doesn't seem that interested in us...
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
