ABOUT LUCKY

This beautiful boy has had a sad start to life, suffering abuse and uncertainty. He came to us with a healed, previously broken leg, as it was left untreated it has healed itself but is crooked. This break would have happened while he was a young puppy. Lucky has had X-rays and our vets have determined that while his leg is not straight, surgery to correct it would be unnecessary and cause undue stress and pain. New owners will need to be aware that later in life he may develop arthritis. Lucky is a lovely, social boy who is thoroughly enjoying his new life and all the new experiences. Lucky is a pretty chilled out and happy boy. He doesn't really ask for much. He prefers to be an indoor boy and is house trained. He is not active or high maintenance, preferring to laze around. He loves going for short walks, trips to the beach and is great in the car. Lucky would ideally suit a quiet couple who like a stroll on the beach or around the block, he greets everyone with a happy face and wagging tail. He wouldn't mind at all being an only dog, but if he is rehomed with another dog he would be best with another, older, quiet dog. Children of teenage age would be best if rehomed to a family. Due to his past abuse Lucky is fearful of lawn mowers, loud motors and such. Lucky is a smart and deeply loyal boy, he will learn training easily. Come meet him, you won't be sorry!
