About Pixi the Puppy (On Trial 21/2/14)
Meet Pixi a 9 week female Rhodesian Ridgeback cross American Staffy. She is an enormous bundle of puppy cuteness and cheekiness.
Pixi loves nothing more than to play with her foster brothers and sisters and enjoys all the mischief that comes with being a puppy. She would also love to play with my cats but they don't really care for her.
Cuddling up on the lounge whilst watching telly or in her bed next to you on the chair is something she adores, she cannot get enough of people as she enjoys their company.
Pixi sleeps inside at night in her bed next to me and is doing well with toilet training so would need access to go outside through the day.
She enjoys her car rides and travels well in the car as long as you are in her sight. Pixi’s breed means she will grow quite large and would need a good sized yard to run and play in with high fences.
Pixi’s ideal family would be one that is happy to include her in their daily family activities. Ideally, her new home would have either someone who will be home a lot of the time or have another pup or playful dog to keep her company.

Pixi is in foster care in Tingara Heights, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for local adoption only. Her $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
