Puppy Jilly (On Trial 12/3/14)

Jilly is a 9 week old, female, Border Collie x Cattle Dog puppy. She loves to cuddle and be near her family. She adores children. She is a fun loving little puppy who loves playing with her brother Jackson (also available http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/275300) and our older foster dog. She is starting to play fetch.

We have started housetraining her but she is still too young to have full control yet of course, but she is off to a good start. We have also started teaching her some basic dog manners. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training and are a big commitment.

Jilly sleeps inside next to her brother on a bed in her playpen. She needs to sleep inside because of her age and size. She is happy to spend some time outside during the day playing on the grass. When she grows up she will still need to be allowed inside each day to spend some time enjoying the company of her family.

She hasn't met any other pets such as cats but being so young she will learn to accept them as members of the family.

Jilly is a very healthy puppy who has been well raised in a family home. She has no known health or behavioural issues. His birthday is 30th November 2013.

Jilly's ideal home would be with a loving family where there is someone home most of the week. She can be with children as she loves playing. Another dog would be great as her would love the company of having another dog around.
