About Bella (3) (by carer 25/11/14) ~ Free
Bella is a beautiful big brown eyed girl; Rottweiler x cattle dog with lovely unique colouring and is approximately 2 years old. She is a happy girl who loves people and other dogs. She is currently living with numerous other dogs and there have been no issues.
Bella has high energy levels and will need to be with a family who will take her for a walk or run every day. With Bella’s love for life she would make an awesome running buddy. Once she has had a good play, she settles and is very gentle, and loves human contact.
Bella appears to not have had a lot of time with people so doesn’t know how to be around them. Because of this Bella has some learning to do on how to be a well mannered girl. With some more training she will make a great companion. it would also be recommended (at this stage) that she goes to a home where the children are no younger than the age of 8 – 10 years of age. She will need 6ft fences.
Bella LOVES water, running and chasing the ball and just being with you . She isn’t too keen to bring the ball back, is happy for you to go and get it for her though.
I think she would get lonely if she was left alone, so I would recommend that she goes to a forever home with another pooch who loves playing, or with a family that are home often. She needs someone who will understand that she needs some training and will be happy to spend time training her. She has tremendous potential and will pay back your efforts with all her love and devotion.
For more information or to meet Bella please phone foster carer Kathy on 02-4938-8391 (preferred), or email kathy.dianella@gmail.com. Bella is in foster care near Tocal, NSW 2420 (45 minutes northwest of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bella's adoption fee will be waived for the right home that is approved for her. A small donation to Dog Rescue Newcastle would be greatly appreciated. includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
