About Trip
Hi, my name is Trip and I am 6 years of age. I am house trained and am affectionate with a lovely nature, but am lonely because I am left by myself for 80% of the time since my owners had children.
The kids are 4 and 6 months and I was really good with them in the beginning but am getting wary of them now as we all know how little ones can pull on tails and climb on pets if given the chance. I get on well with other dogs and love riding in the car.
I get pretty excited when visitors come and tend to jump on them and get a bit boisterous but that's because I don't get enough attention or exercise as I don't get walked either.
I am not fond of loud noises like thunderstorms or fireworks. I shake and try to escape or hide so you need to keep me inside at times like this.
I guess you know I would simply LOVE to be in a new home where you are either retired and have heaps of time to spend giving me the attention I am lacking or are a family with older children who will take me for long walks and give me heaps of cuddles. Either way I need to be inside with you and part of your life not left outside as I am missing the personal touch more than anything.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan: jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every 2-3 weeks to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
