Soxy (On Trial 15/2/14)

Soxy is a 2 and 1/2 year old Shih Tzu cross Schnauzer. He is a lovely and cuddly dog who just wants love and affection.He follows me around everywhere like he is protecting me or watching over me which is very sweet. He loves my other small dog and they just play all day long.

Soxy loves to be under things (perhaps a hiding technique from the past?) and sleeps under my bed but seems happy to sleep anywhere inside. He is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.

You can tell that his original owners didn't give him much attention or love as he laps it up and appreciates everything he gets. He loves walks and food and is easily trained. I have already house trained him. He sits for food and barely barks at all. He only adds his voice when my other dog does but he stops with a simple call of his name.

Soxy has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.

I believe Soxy would be a perfect dog for anyone who will be kind to him and let him inside. He'd be terrific for family with children, or a individual or couple who would like some company. He'll be a great playmate for your other dog if you have one, or he is fine as an only dog if you do not.
