About Chelsea (On Trial 16/3/14)
Introducing "Miss Friendly" Chelsea! Chelsea is a gorgeous 2 year old Ridgeback x Labrador who is super sociable with everyone she meets. She adores playing with other dogs, both big and small, and is great with pocket pets including bunnies. She loves children of all ages and plays nicely with them. She has a sweet lovable nature, and loves to spend play time with her family members, both human and canine. She is a cuddly girl who will be a loyal companion to her furever family.
Whilst in foster care Chelsea has learnt some good doggy manners - she waits for her food and waits to be invited inside. She also sits when asked and loves to entertain you with "High Fives"! We are teaching her some things such as "Down" and "Stay" and to walk nicely on the lead (walks are sooo exciting she sometimes forgets!). Chelsea is an active girl and adores her daily walks, especially when she gets to meet others along the way. Chelsea is only young so she still gets very excited when she meets people, but she is trying very hard to remember her manners and not jump up.
Chelsea is able to stay at home by herself for periods of time. She thrives on receiving big cuddles and attention when you return home and needs to have a furever home where she is allowed in the house when her family are home.
Chelsea would be a great family dog for a single person, a couple or a family with children who will involve her in their daily routine and adventures. She would also suit a family with another dog, a cat or pocket pets. Chelsea is simply a very friendly girl who enjoys the company of everyone and her favourite past-time is cuddles.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
