About "Torti" - Purrfect Match
I was rescued from Renbury Farm Animal Shelter along with my mum ‘Birdie’. My foster family have nick named my ‘Torti’ because of my beautiful tortoiseshell colouring.
I love exploring the house, surprise pouncing on my foster family and feline friends, sitting out in the enclosure and watching the birds outside, playing with my many toys and taking up my foster mum’s side of the bed while she’s trying to sleep.
If you look warm and comfy, you better make room on your lap or legs for me, cause either way that’s where I’m going to curl up to join you. I’m not a huge fan of being picked up or petted on the head, (I have to protect my pretty face!) but give me a good back scratch and I’m putty in your hands.
I share the house with my foster family’s cats, other foster cats and my mum, Birdie, so I’m happy to live with other cats. Occasionally, my foster family will allow their dogs into the house (a Labrador and Husky) and I LOVE them! Pouncing on their wagging tails and head bopping them is great fun.
I would love to find a forever home, but would love even more to find a home with my mum as we love each other dearly. However, if you only have room for one feline, I’d be ok on my own too.
Adoption details
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. This includes and is not restricted to... dangers from disease, attacked by dogs,being used for dog fights or greyhound baiting, cars, cat haters, sick people who would like to hurt any living creature and/or being trapped and sent back to the pound and then left on death row unclaimed due to unforeseen circumstances (IE failure of owner to change address details when moving or lack of funding to pay the impounding fees).
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
