Sammie (On Trial 12/4/14)

Sammie is a gorgeous 2 year old, female, Chihuahua cross. She is a quiet, loyal, caring dog and is a perfect companion dog. She plays with toys and sometimes runs around the yard with the other dogs. However, she is more people oriented. I haven't heard her bark yet!

She loves my partner! When my partner goes out into the yard she will follow him. If she cannot find him she will run to the front door to see if he is out there and then she will go to the back door and then she will go out into the yard to find him. She cries when he goes out and she cries with joy when he comes home. I think she frets when we leave because she cries when we get home.

I don't have children here and no cats either so I don't know how she is with them.

We are currently working on improving her housetraining while she is in foster care. Sammie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and must sleep inside.

She would particularly suit a home with a retired person who would love her and be with her most of the time. She deserves a loving home where she can receive as much affection as she has to give.
