About Spike
Spike is a spunky little dude! Young Spike came to Happy Paws with severe Demodex mange mites and was almost completely bald and red raw. However you wouldn't know it now! Thanks to the loving care he has received, Spike is doing fantastically and is a very sweet, cuddly boy. He was found abandoned at some apartments after his owner had moved out by the maintenance person. He was very hungry and very sore! He has been treated for fleas, worms, Demodex mites, heart worm, desexed etc. and is nearly ready to go to his new home.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
