Dannie, Dale and Dannie were born at the beginning of November last year 2013. We received a call from someone who needed to surrender her dog as she was travelling interstate, Daisey had had pups and she was full of milk. After we explained that the importance of feeding the puppies and the likely hood that Daisey could get very ill due to milk fever. We were able to convince the owner to let us have two of the puppies as she had rehomed the rest. A volunteer picked up the puppies and bought them to Happy Paws haven where they were very happy to be reunited with their mother. Since then we have had another of her pups surrendered. They have grown into typical, naughty, playful, mischievous puppies who have been de-sexed chipped and vaccinated. Dale is about to go to his new home but the other two are still looking for their forever homes.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
