About Nelson
What a funny little fellow! Nelson is all boy with the strut and the barrel chest and takes his job of watching the neighbours VERY seriously. He LOVES a walk, investigating everything on the way, and his recall off-lead is incredible. If you call his name he stops what he is doing and races back to you, tail carried high with the excitement of the adventure. Nelson came into the system in a terrible state, horribly neglected and unwell, but there is no more of that nonsense for this little man as life is for living. Nelson adores humans and would be quite happy to hang out with you. He has been temperament tested with children and his foster carer believes he would do best with children over 9 years old who would love and cuddle him and take him everywhere. Nelson love to 'ride' bikes, 'play' cricket and go to the river (he rocks the dog paddle!) with them. He isn't a fussy eater, sleeps all night happily without a peep, is good in the car and 100% housetrained. Nelson has had all of his routine surgery but also needed to have a rogue baby tooth removed that wasn't where it should be. He also had surgery for entropion, a condition where the eyelashes grow and rub onto the surface of the eye. This would have been very painful for Nelson but it has been fixed now and will not reoccur. Nelson is a house dog with a coat that will grow and require regular grooming.
