About Claude *On Trial in His New Home*
*CLAUDE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES / APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Pocket-Rocket Claude has oodles of energy hence why his profile pics aren’t so flash as he wouldn’t keep still – his carers are still trying to find his off switch!! He is the only male out of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born in September. His mother is a Terrier cross while his father is supposedly a Silky Terrier cross which is probably where he got the longer black fur that runs along his back and onto his head from and he doesn’t mind you styling it into a Mohawk either; cool!
All of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as primary school aged children and young teenagers making them pretty much “bomb proof” – they’re even good with the household cats and their chickens! All of the pups LOVE food and aren’t fussy so this is helping them with learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. \
Note: we've found homes for his sisters, but Claude is being advertised last as he was a "late bloomer", so couldn't be desexed until now.
Adorable Claude is a real goer and a little live wire though once he settles down he enjoys a snuggle on your lap; he’s an affectionate fella. He tended to get bossed around by his 4 sisters during playtime though he never gives up when it comes to playing tug-o-war with them – he really loves toys! As he’s such a bouncy pup we wouldn’t recommend him to a home with toddlers who he could quite easily knock over in his excitement, he’d be better suited to an older household where there’s a playful dog to learn from – Claude wouldn’t do well in a home where he’s left alone while his humans go to work as he’s used to having company and thrives on attention.

As he’s only a young pup he will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners! Daily walks, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Claude very happy indeed. He’s a real water baby who enjoys splashing around in his doggie pool during these hot Mildura days we’ve been having and as he sleeps inside at night and is already picking up housetraining he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in his forever home.
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up energetic Claude then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adoptapet.html
Please Note: His ears look green due to his desexing and microchipping tattoos - the dye went everywhere but will eventually wash out!
Medical notes
Claude is desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and wormed.
DOB: 27/09/13. \
Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
