Whistler

**whistler will be trying out his new home soon** whistler is a happy, lively little boy that just loves to have fun! he is brilliant with other dogs, big or small, and also seems fine with cats. Whistler loves to play, and is very ball focused, so he would really like to try flyball one day. He loves to be told that he is a good boy, and responds very well to positive training. Whistler's favourite things to do are going for walks, playing fetch with the ball, playing chasey all around the house with his doggy friends, and the funniest game of all - playing hide and seek - where whistler hides under the couch and snorts and squeaks until the other dog squeezes under the couch too and joins in with the funny noises. And he has a very special trait - one ear up and one ear down!

Whistler is quite an excitable little boy. And when he gets excited he runs in circles - around and around and around. Whistler is excellent on lead and doesn't pull, and when he's off lead he runs around in a big circle with a huge smile on his face and then comes back to make sure his doggy friends haven't left him behind. He's quite submissive with other dogs. At his foster home, he has three doggy sisters, and he follows them everywhere - and they are most definitely the boss of him!

Whistler can be quite timid with people, but once he learns to trust you, he simply can't get enough affection!! he likes to sit on your lap and bury his head under your arm so that he feels safe. He's not sure about going in the car yet, but he's starting to realise that there is plenty of fun to be had at the end of a car trip! whistler has the most wonderful nature, and he is the sweetest little boy you could ever hope to meet. He would love to find a family who can give him lots of fun, and tummy rubs, and he would like to have a doggy brother or sister to play with in his new home.
