About Jack (On Trial 29/1/14)
Meet Jack, a 14 week old Kelpie cross Border collie puppy. Jack is definitely the baby of the litter and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with you and is content to snuggle, whilst his foster brothers and sisters will be off playing.
Jack is very smart and has almost mastered coming when called. He has had his name since birth so he is very familiar with it. Jack can sit when asked but sometimes there are too many distractions and he can forget his manners and jump up. He is learning to walk on a lead.
Jack would suit an active family with or without another doggy pal. We always recommend dog/puppy training classes for your new family member

Jack's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
